Adventure is out there!!

Hola!!

This week has been super busy but so wonderful!!

I met Prince Charming y'all! He is not tall, dark, and handsome, he
didn't present himself with a bouquet of flowers in hand, but he was
quite the catch- green skin, warts n all (for those who are confused
still and worried that an actual man was at our house... We are
talking about a frog here). We were coming home late after a day's
work. The headlights of the car shown on the driveway, right on that
handsome fella. I yelled at Sister Shepherd to stop the car as Sister
Newman and I jumped out. We carefully approached him, tip toe-ing
over.  Sister Shepherd was cheering us on as we tried chasing him
around for a couple minutes, freaking out a little bit whenever we
would come close to picking him up. I ran into the house and got a
members tuberware to catch em (told ya he was quite the catch). I put
the plastic bowl over the green guy just as he started hopping away
again. Sister Newman and I laughed so hard watching a white plastic
bowl bounce away instead of a frog with legs. Once in the bowl, Sister
Newman gathered up the courage to finally hold Prince Charming. She
screamed as she touched it's rough scaly skin to hold it. Sister Mann
(Me) was filming me as she told me "hurry and take the picture hurry
and take the picture!" I continued to film for what felt like a
dispensation (Sister Newmans words) until I finally agreed to take a
picture for her. We then had to find good lighting (another
dispensations wait). Haven't seen Prince Charming around since, but
he's out there somewhere.  Well thats my story for y'all this week.
We've really had many great things happen this week! We did lots of
service at the Round Rock Service Center and it was great!  We helped
them organize all the books they received from donations and then
helped organize and put out clothes and food!  We had more adventures
with cockroaches this week!!  They really are some pretty nasty
buggers. We had some amazing lessons with our investigators this week.
We taught Herminio and he prayed with us and in his pray he asked if
this was the pathway that he should go and asked if this really was
the true church and he began to cry.  After the prayer we all sat
there for a minute and he said he felt the spirit tell him to keep
meeting with us and he said that he prayed the other day and he knows
the Book of Mormon is true!  He shared with us different parts and
stories in the Book of Mormon that he really liked and it was just
awesome to see him light up when talking with us about it. I truly
believe with all my heart that god knows all of his children and he
loves us all so much no matter what! He answers prayers!  We just need
to get down on our knees and ask!  This week I've seen many miracles
and people accept the gospel in there lives.  I know that people are
being prepared right now for us to go and teach them!  I love this
gospel with all my heart!  I know that Joseph Smith was called of God
to restore this gospel in this last dispensation. Jesus Christ is our
Savior and he loves us so much and because he died for us we can be
forgiven of our sins.  I love this great opportunity that I have of
being a missionary out here in the wonderful state of TEXAS! It truly
is the best!  I love you all and hope y'all have an amazing week!
Con Amor,
Hermana Mann
