Busy, Busy, Busy!!

Hola y'all!

This week has been crazy busy and full of many emotions and miracles!
First off I've been on the mission officially 6 months and 5 days
now!!  I have less then a year to give it my all in sharing this
gospel to the people of good old TEXAS,  and I will give it my all
every day "ALL IN"!   Second, I got a new companion!  We've had so many
ET's (emergency transfers).  Hermana McMurray had to go home due to
some health problems!  I will miss her and wish her the best of luck!
She was an awesome companion!  Sister Carter is my knew companion!
She is from South Jorden UT and has been on the mission 4 months.  She
is great and I can't wait to get to know her better and serve with her
as her companion. She is English speaking so I'm the only Spanish
speaker now!
We had a lesson with Pricila Garcia this week!  She is in the process
of moving to a new house across the street from her old house she lives in
now and so we are helping her pack everything up.  She is progressing
so well and loves learning more.  We invited her to be baptized and
she said she wants to but she wants to wait until after the move and
then she can really focus on church stuff (her words). She is
amazing and seeing her learn more and seeing her light up when it all
makes sense to her is the best thing ever as a missionary to watch!
We went by a lot of less actives homes this week and had some good lessons
with them and got to know them all better.  We met Brother and Sister
Riddle finally after trying to get in contact with them for a couple
of weeks!  Both of their work schedules are crazy but we were near
their house one day and decided to stop by.  They were both
home (miracle). We talked with them for awhile and they told us their
whole life story and Brother Riddle told us some of his Military
stories from being in the Army and a couple years later he found the
church!
We had Zone training meeting this week and a lot of really good
trainings were given!  Sister Jones gave a good training and then a
couple other Elders gave some trainings.  We had dinner that night
with the Brunson family and they gave us a referral, so after dinner
we went by to them. We were able to meet their neighbors Joe and Jenna
and we talked to them for a little bit.  They are in the process of
moving in so we asked them if we could help them this week unpack
boxes etc.  They were so happy and excited and said yes!  Then on our
way out they said "and next time y'all come you can tell us more about
the Mormon Church, we are interested in hearing what y'all have to say"
Sister Carter and I looked at each other and said "we would love to!"
We are going to help them tomorrow and we can't wait!
On Sunday we had church and Pricila came!  Then after sacrament
something awesome happened!  We got up to go talk to one of our members
about something and someone from behind me gave me a hug and I turned
around and saw Paysha........one of my friends and her husband Matt from
back home!  I went to ther wedding about a month before I left on my
mission!  They happened to be staying with one of our members in our
ward who Paysha served in her ward in Virginia when they lived there!
It was so great to see them both!

Well y'all it's been a great week full of many adventures and
miracles!  I can't wait for what the Lord has in store for us and the
people here this week!

1 Nephi 10:19: For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of
God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as
well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as
in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal
round.

Con Amor,
Hermana Mann
